Well, it seems that the New York Stock Exchange has decided to treat Southwestern Bell as a company with more potential for growth than Enron, and consequently it's going back up. Being smarter than the market can really be nerve-wracking. You're either fighting with yourself to wait patiently for the signs that the rest of the world is wising up, or you get in early and sweat the latency. I'm trying to be more patient and to sweat without effort; alas, both run counter to my nature. But why should that stop me. It's been five fun-filled months of nature rearranging, while I'm at it I might as well give myself the wisdom of Solomon and make it impossible not to write five daily pages of crystalline eloquence.
